The renovation began with major structural alterations, including the removal of a load-bearing wall and chimney breast to create a spacious open-plan layout. Two RSJ steels were installed to support the new structure, and a new window was fitted to align with existing features.

A Shell-painted Winslow shaker kitchen was supplied and installed with wood-effect and solid ash door fronts, complemented by Miami Vena quartz worktops, recessed drainer, and antique brass fixtures. Integrated appliances were fitted throughout, and a Quooker boiling water tap added modern convenience.

Electrics and plumbing were fully updated, including a new fuse board, LED lighting, appliance feeds, boiler relocation, and new white radiators. The space was finished with plastering, herringbone flooring, full decoration, and a bespoke MDF seating unit with custom cushions.
