Kitchen & Dining Room Structural Alteration

The load-bearing wall between the kitchen and dining room was removed to create a spacious, open-plan layout. To ensure structural integrity, an RSJ steel beam was installed flush in the ceiling, providing seamless support while maintaining a clean finish.

How We Achieved The Result

This project required precise planning and execution to safely remove the existing wall and integrate a new support system. Pad stones were installed on either side of the RSJ steel beam, and joists were carefully relocated and bolted into the steel to maintain stability.
